Consultancy
Our consultancy portfolio is built around helping organizations design, implement, and monitor programs that make a difference. EMCAD supports clients in program strategy development, results-based management, monitoring and evaluation system design, fundraising strategies, and policy formulation. We bring deep expertise in gender and social inclusion, governance, education, food security, and youth empowerment. Our consultancy approach is participatory, collaborative, and grounded in local realities. Research and Evaluation
EMCAD provides comprehensive research and evaluation services designed to inform decision-making, improve program design, and measure results. Our work covers baseline, midline, and endline evaluations, feasibility studies, needs assessments, and policy reviews. We use a blend of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and tools, including SPSS, NVivo, and Kobo Toolbox, to ensure the collection and analysis of high-quality data. Whether working on national studies or multi-country evaluations, we prioritize methodological rigor, contextual relevance, and stakeholder engagement. Our research has supported critical sectors such as public health, gender equality, education, and livelihoods, and we’ve successfully delivered assignments across Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Somalia, and South Sudan.
Training & Capacity Building
EMCAD offers professional training programs that enhance the skills, confidence, and effectiveness of individuals and organizations working in the development sector. Our training is interactive, context-specific, and aligned with global development goals. We cover a wide range of topics, including monitoring and evaluation, results-based program management, SPSS and NVivo data analysis, research methods, grant proposal writing, and strategic planning. We also run specialized sessions such as the UN Week Initiative, which educates participants about UN systems and opportunities. EMCAD has successfully trained hundreds of professionals from organizations such as SOS Zimbabwe, Feed the Future, and Family Caring Trust. Our sessions are available in-person, online, or hybrid formats, depending on the needs of our partners.
